Gold twin ring with teardrop-shaped almandine (“Syrian”) garnets in filigree base settings, surrounded by small molten balls and rings.

2 × 1.7 cm / weight 4.2 g – gold mixed with copper.

Similar types of rings appeared in Alexandria from the third century BCE, but the style flourished in Roman times.
